If your dealing with an issue that we can’t reproduce, and If logging out and back in didn’t solve the problem, then there is a good chance that the next thing we’ll ask you to do will be to uninstall and re-install the app.
The reason that we ask you to do this is because if we can’t reproduce it on our side, then there is a chance that the issue was caused by some corrupted data stored on your phone. Uninstalling and re-installing will ensure that that data is removed and you can start over fresh.
NOTE: Before uninstalling and re-installing, you should make sure that you have logged in with your GPSHuntFish.com account, and that all of your trips have been synced with the GPSHuntFish.com site. This will ensure that you can get all your data after you re-install.
NOTE: Since you have already paid once you won’t have to pay again to re-install
From the home screen press and hold the appplication. This should go into “edit mode”. From here you can click the application again, and it will prompt you to confirm that you really want to uninstall the application.
Now you can return to the App Store icon on your phone, search for Trimble GPS Hunt, and Install it again.
On Android you have a convenient option to clear all the locally stored data without re-installing. However, sometimes it is nice to have peace of mind knowing that everything is fresh by reinstalling the app.
For both options, you start the same:
From the android home screen, select “Settings” > “Applications” > “Manage Applications”. Choose Trimble GPS Hunt” from the list.
From there you can choose to “Clear Data”, or “Unistall”.
If you choose to clear the data you can just return to the application to see if the issue has been corrected.
If you choose to uninstall, then you can return to the Marketplace, search for Trimble GPS Hunt, and install it again.
